Most Oak Island fans are aware of the Reader's Digest article of January 1965 that created such enormous interest in Oak Island and with many of the people who are currently involved with the operations. Although, the Reader's Digest article was a condensed version of a larger piece written by David MacDonald in "The Rotarian Magazine", January 1965.
