Once Upon An Island
Intro
Once Upon an Island, in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, there’s an a over 200-year-old mystery that is still unsolved. The island is called Oak Island and for centuries people have believed that it hides something of great value that may or may not still be there. Captain Kidd’s treasure, Aztec Gold, Viking Gold, Queen Marie Antoinette’s jewels, Shakespeare’s manuscripts, William Phipps treasure, Sacking of Havana treasure, Dom Antonio’s treasure, The Ark of the Covenant, The Menorah, The Holy Grail, and many other possibilities have been proposed.
We will be looking at all these possibilities and more. The Oak Island Compendium, New Edition, will be focusing our efforts on uncovering the true history associated with the island. We will be attempting to uncover the real chain of events that have transpired.
What makes the mystery so complicated is that it appears that there were multiple parties during multiple time periods that were on the island that left clues. These clues have been mixed together making it very difficult to distinguish between them and narrow down the exact timeline of what happened. Scientific testing has been beneficial in narrowing down these dates and giving us a better idea of the timing of this involvement. We believe that good historical research will put the timeline in even greater perspective so that the exact sequence of events can be narrowed down and understood. We believe that the areas of Science, History, Psychology, Astronomy, Navigation, Philosophy, Politics, Mathematics, Alchemy, Mythology, Religion and Business all figure prominently in what exactly happened on the island and will hopefully provide the answers to solve the mystery.
Although, the biggest obstacle that is associated with Oak Island Mystery is the concealment of the truth that has been going on for centuries. Pieces of evidence have been destroyed, moved, concealed, and misinterpreted for a very long time. Tales, myths, and legends have been told that have strayed from the actual events that happened which has created a complex web of fiction. The Oak Island Compendium, New Edition, has the goal of cutting through all this misinformation and providing solid, accurate, and informative information that will help explain what happened on Oak Island. We have an open mind to what we will find and are happy you will be joining us for our adventure.
